At Advanced Spine Pain Solutions our physicians are double board certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Management and trained to offer the most advanced and compassionate care possible. That’s why at Advanced Spine Solutions our doctors perform not only the initial interview and examination, but also frequent follow up interviews for re-assessment along with specialty trained staff. Our physician’s provide comprehensive interventional spine & pain management services by performing scientifically proven interventions in a state of the art facility using up-to-date data and research. Because in pain medicine, precision plays a major role in patient outcomes, our physicians continually improve their skills with workshops, training, and continuing medical education to ensure we offer only the best and safest care possible to our patients. Our Doctors

Dr. Marte A. Martinez

Dr. Martinez is an Interventional Spine and Pain Medicine physician who focuses on the eradication of pain utilizing the most advanced interventional pain management techniques and treatments available.

Dr. Marte A. Martinez is Board Certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology. He grew up just south of Laredo in McAllen, TX. Upon completion of his medical training in Dallas, TX at the prestigious University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, Dr. Martinez studied and trained in Anesthesiology at The Oklahoma University Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City, OK. During residency training, he presented his research in neuromodulation and anesthesiology at various national and international meetings. He also served as the national resident member to the Chronic Pain Management committee for the American Society of Anesthesiology. Upon completion of his Anesthesiology Residency, he attended The University of Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio where he completed his Interventional Pain Management Fellowship training. Dr. Martinez currently serves as an educator for Dannemiller teaching vertebral augmentation techniques. He continues to collaborate with an international team performing neuromodulation research. Dr. Martinez is an expert in neuromodulation having published multiple articles on the subject and is also well versed in ultrasound-guided interventions, which are cutting edge for the delivery of targeted intra-articular and soft tissue injections. He is an active member in numerous professional societies. Dr. Martinez is married to his college sweetheart, Adrianna, and is the proud father of two girls, Eva Isabel and Ana Sophia. In his spare time he enjoys the outdoors and is an avid fisherman and hunter. Dr. Martinez believes in a team approach where both the physician and patient each do their part to achieve the goal of a fully functioning patient and restoration of a productive member of society.

Yammile C. Gallegos, PA-C

Yammile C. Gallegos was born and raised in South Texas. A native of Brownsville, Texas, she attended the University of Texas at San Antonio where she graduated Cum Laude and received a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She then received her second bachelor’s degree in Allied Health Sciences and Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Upon completing her studies, she remained in San Antonio working in the field of Pain Management in a multidisciplinary practice. Subsequently, she relocated with her husband to El Paso where she continued to practice in the realm of Pain Management as part of a large Orthopaedic Surgery Group. She is now happy to call Laredo home and resides with her husband and two sons. PA Gallegos is passionate about offering appropriate therapeutic approaches to reduce pain by providing safe, conservative and compassionate care focused on improving the function and quality of life of her patients.

Yammile's other interests include spending time with her family, traveling, listening to live music and participating in outdoor activities.
